Patients registered twice (same phone number) can be merged into one record — their visits, bills, follow-ups and photos are combined; nothing is deleted until you confirm.
📥 Import old records — bring last FY's patients & bills into Cherish
Paste rows from Excel/CSV — one record per line:

Date: dd-mm-yyyy or yyyy-mm-dd · Type: Consultation / Pharmacy / Procedure / Advance (blank = Consultation) · cash+online blank = all cash.
Existing patients are matched by phone — no duplicates. Imported bills get their own IMP- numbers so they never disturb your live INV- sequence.

Each tile inspects the newest backup at that destination and opens it to verify it is a readable clinic database (not just that a file exists). OneDrive note: the file is verified in the OneDrive folder; the cloud upload itself is done by the OneDrive app.

🗄️ Auto Cloud Snapshots
A weekly snapshot (without photos, to stay light) is saved automatically inside your cloud database whenever an admin opens the app. Last 8 are kept. Photos are included only in the manual download backup.

🔐 Access Levels — who can see and do what
Click a cell to cycle it: NONE hides the page · VIEW opens it read-only · EDIT is normal use · FULL adds the sensitive actions below. Changes apply the next time that person loads the app.
Sensitive actions — set per role, independent of page level
Read-only is a staff-discipline control, not a security boundary — it disables the controls in the browser. Anything that must be impossible, not just discouraged, needs the bridge to enforce it too.
